From initial concepts to final artwork, learn the process of creating a children’s picture book. You will create original characters, develop a storyboard and explore different techniques to produce finished illustrations for your picture book.

About the event
Lorette is a children's book author and illustrator living in Melbourne, Australia.
She has always loved to draw and published her first book, Baby Bear goes to the Zoo, under Lothian Books in 1999 which won the Chricton Award for Illustration and was translated into five languages and sold over 200,000 copies.
Lorette teaches drawing and design at RMIT (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology) and short courses in Writing and Illustrating Children's Picture Books at various institutions, including RMIT and CAE (Council of Adult Education)
Online over 4 weeks: Thursdays in August (6th/13th/20th/27th) 6-8pm
