The sunflower symbolises the never-ending process of plants capturing and storing the energy from the fire in the sky as carbon and in the process creating oxygen.
Over millions of years earthly processes convert this stored carbon into oil and gas.
This ancient gas, and the oxygen released by plants today allows me to generate a controlled fire, an
essential element in all my artwork allowing me to bend and solder materials together.
