In the Victorian high country, on a cold winters night, the two of us sheltered in a wooden hut from the freezing conditions outside.

A pot belly stove in the centre of the hut provided warmth, while in the corner, a solitary candle provided……..light.

This was an example of ‘FIRE’ being used in its most basic and primitive way.
