Climate change is a genuine concern for our community and for our general way of life. Imagine a near dystopian future through the whimsical sculptures of community artist Nichola Clarke.
Nichola, along with artist and curator, Hannah French have worked with our community to explore the effect that climate change is having on our crops and a potential future of genetically modified hybrid plants. Using mainly recycled or reclaimed materials this project shows the state of what we throw away and just how single use is our present.
Come, Help, Create: Community art workshops Tuesdays and Thursdays 7-9pm at the Center for Participation. During the festival learn how to make your own solar garden – Your art will be displayed at the showgrounds for the Winter Warmer.
Join us for nibbles and a drink to celebrate Spring into Winter.
