The Art is... festival would like to acknowledge the five traditional owner groups of our beautiful Wimmera lands. The Wotjobaluk, Jaadwa, Jadwadjali, Wergaia and Jupagalk people.  We take time to respect and consider the land, our environment, the aboriginal culture and pay our respects to all aboriginal people especially elders, past present and emerging.

Galleries on the Wall - Covid-19 does provide opportunities in some respects.  We've been running the Galleries on the side program for many years but this was the first time we've put it online.

Socially distanced and out of the rain - it also took that long to create we've decided to leave it up until next year.  So enjoy.

If you're interested in having your work in the Galleries on the Side Gallery we will be running both versions of the project in 2021

The theme For 2021 is back to Art is... Unexpected

So enjoy the creative process and have something to show by May 2021

We welcome emerging and first time artists.

Accessibility:  We are trying to improve our festival's accessibility. 2020 is the first year we have made allowances for this in our budget and we acknowledge that we have a LONG way to go. If you have accessibility requirements please advise us on 0468 810 296 or at

We can't do everything at once but we will do our best to prioritise our artists and participants needs so please let us know what they are.    Thanks
