Microworlds of the Mallee

This series depicts some of the beautiful hidden scenes that deep down in the shrubs, rocks and otherwise - places that we don’t see on a day to day basis.
 

With this I wanted to show how amazing the things are that we miss because we are focused on much bigger things, figuratively and literally!

Ben Fowler (Cronk) is an artist from Warracknabeal, Victoria, who specialises in macro photography and fine art who lost half of his vision in 2020 due to a ruptured cornea. Since then he has endeavoured to show the world how he sees it.
